SCOPE OF WORKS

Gritblast and Painting to Canal bridge, prepared to SA2 ½ and protective coatings to M34 RT98 specification.  Full encapsulation required.

In addition we undertook steelwork repairs, brickwork repairs to the abutments and minor de-vegetation works.

CHALLENGES

Working over water necessitated containment to prevent pollution of the watercourse. Safety of operatives was paramount during these works. A safety boat was required. In addition we were required to mange passing canal traffic.
